The paper “PANOPTES: A Digital Twin Ontology for Cultural Asset Management” presents a semantic model for heritage digital twins that represents assets, observations, diagnoses, predictions, threats and decision processes.
By aligning with standards such as CIDOC CRM, SOSA/SSN, PROV-O, GeoSPARQL and OWL-Time, PANOPTES provides the knowledge layer needed for traceable monitoring, risk forecasting and preventive conservation workflows in ARGUS-like environments.
