TEXTaiLES provides practical tools that help heritage specialists work with visual data and 3D objects. Two examples are the AmalthAI machine learning platform and the THOTH 3D viewer and annotator.
AmalthAI: accessible computer vision workflows
AmalthAI supports dataset preparation, annotation, training and inference through a graphical interface. It brings classification, object detection and semantic segmentation workflows closer to users who do not specialise in machine learning.
THOTH: viewing and annotating 3D objects
THOTH supports annotation of complete objects and selected regions of interest. Its tools help connect 3D representations with the descriptive information needed for research and documentation.
These resources complement the TEXTaiLES project and its work on textile cultural heritage.
